Hi {{firstName}},
I know I’ve been preaching to you about how important video is in your sales outreach strategy, but something equally important that ties in with this is copywriting - and by association calling and video scripts as well. Copywriting is the storytelling and the message you convey to your prospects.
The creative team at ATLAS ANALYTICS takes great care when it comes to the creation of our copy. They infuse hours of blood, sweat and tears to create masterpieces worthy of telling the story of our clients.
Here are some tips I got from them, on how to write compelling copywriting:
Identify Audience Needs 🕵️
Once we have carefully chosen the right prospects to reach out to - the lucky ones who will be receiving your mail or your call. You know how they will benefit from your product or services, but you have to make them realise it too. Don’t just tell them how wonderful you are. Identify their pain points and needs, let them know you know what they’re struggling with, and how you can help them.
Subject Lines
Studies show that 35% of emails are opened based on the subject line alone. So, your subject line will decide if your email stands a chance, or just gets swiped directly into the trash folder 😳. It needs to call on the prospect, entice them enough to think “lemme see what this is about”. Be wary of using spam trigger words like: no hidden costs, best price, important information regarding…, act now etc. or anything with percentages. Your email will just land directly into their spam folder, collecting dust in the ether until they one day decide to do some housekeeping.
Short and Attractive
Your prospects aren’t going to read your email if it looks like a proposal essay. I wouldn’t either 🤷. It’s both tedious and annoying - a one-way ticket to it landing in the trash folder.
