It’s Monday morning, and you’ve just sat down at your desk, sleep still heavy on your eyes. You begrudgingly open your laptop and open your Emails (because that’s the first thing we tend to do on a Monday morning).

Reaching for your freshly brewed cup of coffee, you open the first email in your inbox.

And nearly choke on the onyx liquid.

It’s a cold email.

Paragraph upon paragraph of sweet promises to increase your productivity, and up your sales, and grow your business like a freaking Clematis plant, and invitations to “schedule a meeting asap so you can hear more”.

PTSD hits you as your upcoming workload flashes before your eyes and your brain recalls every other cold email you’ve ever received.

With shaky hands, you delete the email - not able to even read it fully.

We’ve all been there, right?

Cold emails are such a daunting thing to receive - on any day of the week, not just a Monday morning. They’re chock full of information and expectation that is honestly anxiety-inducing.

But, they don’t have to be.
